The Cadillac Coupe DeVille, first introduced in 1949, stood for style and prestige. The 1954 model had elegant lines, an imposing front and stylish tail fins.
A 5.4-liter V8 engine with 230 horsepower and a Hydramatic automatic transmission provided a powerful and smooth ride. The luxurious interior featured leather, wood, chrome, power windows, air conditioning and a modern car radio, making the car the top model in the Cadillac range.

The bracelet
Due to the uniqueness of the fabric and its special weave pattern, it was important to us to highlight it clearly. Saddlery experts carefully removed the fabric from the seats and prepared it for strap production. The strap design was given a classic contour with dark green yarn, matching the upper material and green velour of the interior.

Originally fully equipped in 1954 with a 230 hp V8 engine, its journey began in the USA. In the 1990s, it was imported to Europe by a Swiss collector. In 2023, a Munich-based Cadillac enthusiast acquired the model and had the entire interior restored with the finest leather to combine nostalgia and comfort. A saddler friend of ours drew our attention to this unique project, as the original fabric of this Cadillac is a rarity and was perfect for a Bandwerk special edition.
