Consistency . Hardly any word describes the Swiss watch industry better. The most popular model from the Geneva watch manufacturer Patek Philippe, for example, the Nautilus, has hardly changed since the 1970s. The iconic watch design is timeless, not least because of its unusual case shape, which is perfectly reflected in the sporty metal bracelet.
The Apple Watch, on the other hand, is known above all for its diversity and incomparable variety. No other watch offers such a large selection of straps, dials and cases.
We at BandWerk have gained a lot of expertise in the area of Apple Watch straps over the past six years. BandWerk leather straps are not only characterized by our love of leather craftsmanship, but also by their perfect symbiosis with the watch case. Combining elaborate craftsmanship and modern technology was the basic idea of our company from the very beginning.
With our latest development, we want to go one step further and combine the incomparable savoir-faire, the demand for perfection and the timeless elegance of the luxury watch industry with the Apple Watch.
The design
The design
The biggest design challenge was to create a bracelet that not only integrates mechanically into the Apple Watch case, but also harmonizes perfectly with it aesthetically.
The intermediate links of our new bracelet models are reminiscent of the design language of the side and release buttons of the Apple Watch, the integrated end links, which also contain the adapter mechanism, fit uncompromisingly into the overall concept.

No other component determines the overall impression and reliability of a bracelet more than its clasp. No one is more aware of the crucial importance of this part of the bracelet than the specialists at the Craiss metalworks, where this expertise has been passed on for over 100 years.
The double folding clasp, developed together with Craiss, fits perfectly into the overall look of our link bracelets and ensures a guaranteed secure hold on the wrist.
The development of the bracelet design took over six months. With great attention to detail, every link, every screw and every edge was discussed and considered. The result is a balanced and harmonious metal bracelet that hugs your wrist like no other.
The production
The production
Uncompromising means sparing no effort or expense to achieve a perfect result. For us, this means – as with most of our other products – complete production in Germany. From the raw material to the finished metal bracelet.
Each of the bracelet's 112 components is milled to an accuracy of 0.01 mm in a process that takes several hours and is then satin-finished and polished by hand by specialists.
Finally, the strap links are joined together with 64 specially manufactured screws to create a perfectly formed end product, which can then be perfectly adjusted to the wearer's wrist in just a few simple steps.

To ensure that the finished product not only withstands all the influences of everyday life without any problems, but can also prove its functionality under extreme conditions, the careful selection of materials is an essential part of a high-quality bracelet.

The material 1.4404, known as surgical steel, which is also sold under the name stainless steel 316L, is a perfect raw material for our purposes.
Due to its high corrosion resistance and its particular hardness, the material 316L is highly valued not only in the medical field but also in the chemical industry.
In the form of a bracelet, this material can easily withstand salt water and is relatively resistant to scratches. However, scratches can also be easily polished out so that you can restore your bracelet to its original condition even after years.
